Dynamic Ageing - Better Balance in Six Exercises

"Better Balance in Six Exercises" is the introductory class for the 4-weeks program Dynamic Ageing, based on the best selling book "Dynamic Aging" by biomechanist Katy Bowman. This material is geared towards a 50+ audience and anyone who wants to improve basic whole-body mobility:

  • six simple exercises and postural adjustments to improve balance and walking;
  • six mobility tests to measure your progress;
  • why how you move matters;
  • how to improve your exercise routine.

About your facilitator: Elena Vasileva, M. Sc. (physics) is a Nutritious Movement certified Restorative Exercise Specialist and Certified Craniosacral practitioner.

Restorative exercise is a biomechanics based system of corrective exercises and lifestyle changes and recommendations that encourages using parts of the body that aren't being used in modern life's every day activities in order to minimise wear and tear and optimise cellular regeneration throughout the whole body.

You need to be able to stand, sit, go down to the floor and up somehow and without much pain. If you are in pain, I recommend a personal consult first.
